Pravila i ograničenja za slanje e-mails
Informacije o pravilima i ograničenjima za slanje poruka e-pošte s Web hostinga, WebSite, Mailhostinga te s virtualnih ili namjenskih poslužitelja.
Kako bi se spriječilo i suzbilo slanje neželjenih poruka e-pošte (spama), za sve naše hosting usluge vrijede određena pravila. Ta ograničenja služe zaštiti ugleda naših dijeljenih poslužitelja e-pošte, osobito u slučaju kompromitiranih poštanskih sandučića ili web obrazaca.
Web Hosting, WMS, WebSite, Mailhosting
Slanje bilo kakvih masovnih poruka e-pošte putem usluga Webhosting, WMS, WebSite i Mailhosting strogo je zabranjeno, bez obzira na to jesu li poruke tražene ili netražene. To uključuje kako masovne komercijalne ponude, tako i newslettere poslane pretplaćenim primateljima.
Ako trebate slati takvu vrstu pošte, postavite uslugu specijaliziranu za masovno slanje pošte (VEDOS takvu uslugu ne nudi, ne posreduje i ne preporučuje) ili si možete postaviti vlastiti poslužitelj e-pošte naVPS or dedicated server.
Web hosting, WMS i WebSite šalju e-poruke na dva načina:
Funkcija mail() u PHP-u
From the web hosting server using the mail() function in PHP. This includes many contact forms, WordPress password recovery, and various other, at least partially automated, messages.
Sending via SMTP
Iz e-mail programa putem našeg SMTP poslužitelja. Za slanje e-maila na taj se način morate prijaviti u poštanski sandučić korisničkim imenom i lozinkom.
Mailhosting omogućuje slanje e-mailova samo putem SMTP-a. Uz Web hosting i WMS nije moguće slati neautorizirane e-mailove putem protokola SMTP (ne može se uspostaviti odlazna veza preko TCP porta 25). Za slanje pošte protokolom SMTP iz web aplikacije poštu je potrebno slati na autoriziran način (tj. nakon prijave) putem našeg mail poslužitelja ili poslužitelja treće strane na portu 587.
Limits on sending e-mails for hosting services
The following table summarizes the limits on sending e-mails for hosting services:

If you try to send an e-mail above the set limit
- Pod pojmom
mail()function in PHP returnsfalseand the server discards the message. - The SMTP server rejects the message with an error message informing you that the limit has been exceeded.
The limit applies to a calendar day; the counter resets every day at midnight (CET/CEST).
The stated limits on sent e-mails can only be increased by purchasing the add-on service Upgrade to the Business variant. There is no entitlement to a limit increase, and the provider reserves the right to refuse a request for an increase (or for provision of the add-on service) even without giving a reason. Increasing the limit does not permit bulk sending of e-mail messages, nor does it justify it in any way.
Virtualni i namjenski poslužitelji
You can use VPS and dedicated servers for the bulk sending of solicited messages, provided you meet the following conditions:
- The messages must be solicited, meaning the recipients must be aware that they have signed up to receive these messages.
- Messages must be sent in a non-intrusive volume.
- Messages must be sent in reasonably small batches, never all at once in large quantities.
- The message must include a procedure for unsubscribing, and the sender must accept and respect unsubscribe requests.
Information the customer is required to provide at our request

- What messages are being sent.
- How often the messages are sent.
- In what volume they are sent (total number, sending rate).
- How recipients can unsubscribe.
- Any other information at our request.
If the customer violates these conditions or fails to provide us with the required information, we are entitled to completely block e-mail sending or suspend the entire server.
Why these limits?
First of all, it should be emphasized that these limits are not primarily aimed at our customers. Common causes and sources of spam include:
- A security hole in a PHP script that allows it to be exploited, for example the bulk insertion of posts into a discussion forum (the forum then sends these new posts to its members), a bug directly in a contact form, and similar.
- Krađa FTP lozinke za internetske stranice (obično sa zaraženog kućnog računala); napadač zatim na korisnikove stranice postavlja zlonamjeran PHP skript putem kojeg onda šalje masovni spam. Korisnik možda uopće ne zna da se to događa.

Deliberate sending of spam by our customer is the last thing that happens and the last thing we deal with.
So why these limits? Usluge e-pošte za Web hosting, WMS, WebSite i Mailhosting dijeljene su. Na jednom se poslužitelju nalaze internetske stranice ili poštanski sandučići nekoliko stotina korisnika. Ako takav poslužitelj počne (iz bilo kojeg razloga) slati masovne poruke i poslužitelj e-pošte primatelja ga zatim blokira, bit će privremeno ili čak trajno blokirani i svi ostali korisnici na istom poslužitelju (jer svi dijele istu IP adresu).
Ako takvu blokadu postavi veliki pružatelj usluga e-pošte kao što su Seznam, Gmail ili Outlook, velik broj korisnika i klijenata neće primati ni legitimne poruke s tog poslužitelja sve dok se situacija ne ispravi i adresa ne odblokira. To može potrajati satima ili čak dulje.
Why aren’t the limits addressed only once something happens? The solution must be preventive. If an attacker finds a security gap in a website or e-mail account and starts exploiting it for bulk spamming, it is already too late. Sending tens of millions of messages is a matter of a single script and a relatively short amount of time. By the time we received and processed a report, such a server would already be blocked in various places across the Internet.
This solution is not a bad thing. Nemojte to shvaćati kao ograničenje usmjereno protiv vas. Shvatite to kao svoju zaštitu od toga da se vaša internetska stranica zlorabi za nezakonite aktivnosti. Zahvaljujući toj preventivnoj mjeri možemo osigurati da prave, željene e-poruke s vaše stranice uvijek stignu do vaših kupaca, prijatelja, posjetitelja i tako dalje. Bez tog ograničenja to možda ne bi bilo moguće.
