Mailhosting Business: A New Standard for Company Email
Firemný e-mail si zaslúži viac než byť len „doplnkom k balíčku“. S našim novým Mailhostingom Business získate slobodu rozhodovať o veľkosti úložiska, počte schránok a bezpečnosti svojich dát. A to všetko za jednu férovú cenu. Za 1 000 Kč mesačne získate 1 TB priestoru, ktorý si môžete rozdeliť medzi ľubovoľný počet používateľov a schránok podľa svojich potrieb.
Not sure whether it’s right for you? Here is a quick test:
- Do you want your data to stay in Czechia and be protected by Czech law?
- Do you want to avoid depending on foreign corporations?
- Do you need an unlimited number of mailboxes for a single price?
- Do you value instant Czech support and clear administration?
- Do you want to pay fairly for capacity, not for licences?
If you answered “yes” at least once, Mailhosting Business is for you.
We are currently fine-tuning the last details and will be launching very soon.
We Have Updated the PHP Versions
New PHP versions are now available on our web hosting services (8.4.11, 8.3.24, 8.2.29, a8.1.33). The new versions bring further performance optimisations, more efficient memory handling, and extend the language with new options and features. Thanks to this, modern web applications can run faster, more stably, and with support for the latest development standards.
Before switching, we recommend checking the compatibility of all the plugins, extensions, and content management systems you use, so that your website runs smoothly.
You can change the version easily right in the administration. You will find a detailed guide on how to adjust the PHP version and configuration here: PHP Configuration
More Privacy and Security for gTLD Domain Owners
On 21 August 2025, new ICANN rules came into effect regarding the handling of personal data for generic domains (gTLDs), such as .com, .net, or .org. The main change is the option to hide personal data in the WHOIS database and the introduction of an anonymised email contact through which interested parties can reach you without you disclosing your real address. The good news is that we at VEDOS have offered this protection for some time, so most owners of our gTLD domains do not need to take any action. You will find full details in the updated gTLD domain terms.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT TIP: DNSSEC – Protecting Your Domain Against Spoofing
How do you set it up at VEDOS?
- Log in to the customer administration.
- Open your domain’s detail.
- In the Domain Diagnostics tab, check whether DNSSEC is active.
- If not, enable the feature in the DNSSEC Settings tab; the keys are generated and stored automatically.
If you do not want the automatic DNSSEC setup on CZ and EU domains from our side (enabled by default), you can turn it off following the guide here.
