Webhosting migration steps
To migrate a website you need to know the FTP server, FTP account login, FTP account password and others (if you don’t know these details, contact your provider and ask them to give them to you).
Order webhosting through the order form, so we know where to migrate your data (and any database). If you choose assisted migration, we’ll transfer all the data to VEDOS for you for a fee. If you choose automatic migration, use the script in the customer administration.
Create a data and database migration request in the customer administrationfor the newly ordered and set-up webhosting. In the webhosting detail in the left-hand menu of the customer administration.

Successful migration of data and database. You’ll be notified about the completed migration by email, so please wait. Depending on the load, the migration can take up to tens of minutes.
Final DNS change. Once you’ve checked that everything has been migrated and works, you can proceed to the final change of the DNS servers or DNS records, and the website will start running on VEDOS.
Email migration steps
To migrate a mailbox you need to know the email address, password and IMAP server (if you don’t know it, contact your provider and ask them to give it to you).
