VEDOS Helps
At VEDOS, we believe technology can be a powerful tool for positive change in the world. That’s why we’ve decided to support various charitable and socially beneficial projects by doing what we do best – providing free web hosting and other services by individual arrangement. Our support covers a wide range of initiatives, from small nonprofit organizations to large-scale humanitarian projects working to improve the lives of people, communities, and animals.
We support:
Centrum BAZALKA, o.p.s
Centrum Bazalka provides comprehensive care for children and adolescents with severe disabilities, especially combined disabilities or autism. It offers day-care services, a special school, and professional counseling, aimed at supporting the development and integration of these children into society.
BERUŠKA HB, z.s.
The association Beruška HB helps children from children’s homes prepare for independent living through educational events and stays. It focuses on developing self-confidence, responsibility, and practical skills.
Neticho, z.s.
Neticho, z.s. is the first Czech patient organization focused on supporting people with tinnitus – ringing or whistling in the ears. It offers support groups, peer consultations, an information portal, and collaborates with medical experts. The organization’s goal is to raise awareness, provide help, and build a community for everyone living with tinnitus.
Lata, programy pro mládež, z. ú.
Lata is a nonprofit organization that focuses on supporting children, young people, and families in difficult life situations. It provides peer mentoring and professional social work in Prague and the surrounding area.
Nadační fond Slza zvířat
Nadační fond Slza zvířat helps shelters, nonprofit organizations, and volunteers caring for abandoned and abused animals. It provides food, necessary supplies, and animal promotion so they can find a safe and loving home as soon as possible. The fund’s mission is to ease the work of people on the front lines and give animals in need a chance at a better life.
Podkrkonošská společnost přátel dětí zdravotně postižených Semily, z.s.
Podkrkonošská společnost of Friends of Children with Disabilities in Semily is a nonprofit organization that supports children and young people with disabilities. It organizes various activities and projects that help them integrate into society and improve their quality of life.
Neslyšící s nadějí
This organization focuses on supporting deaf people in Czechia and abroad and is a member of FoRS. Through discussions, education, campaigns, and partnerships, it works to remove communication barriers, promote the human and linguistic rights of deaf people, and prevent discrimination. Its activities include awareness-raising, workshops, conferences, publishing, and humanitarian aid.
#Rytíř pomáhá
The association is dedicated to firefighting sports and, since 2020, also to the project #Rytířpomáhá, aimed at supporting bone marrow donation and the Czech National Donor Registry. It organizes charity events, donor recruitment drives, and informs the public about the importance of registering, so that more patients find their life-saving match in time.
H.O.L.I. CZ
The social enterprise H.O.L.I. CZ focuses on helping people in adverse living conditions, primarily mothers with children. It specializes in producing unconventional, chemical-free syrups and chutneys, growing the raw ingredients itself. The activity is funded entirely by the sale of these products, with clients involved in every stage of production and sales.
Baobab z.s.
Baobab z.s. supports people with mental health difficulties in living independent and fulfilling lives. In Prague, it offers two registered services – social rehabilitation (Training Housing, Case Management, the Student Program, Group Programs) and Domov BAO, a special-regime care home for clients with a higher need for support. It has also newly launched the project Housing First Baobab.
Moudrá síť
Moudrá Síť is a nationwide platform connecting volunteers, mainly students, with seniors, whom they help with digital technology. This creates a unique intergenerational connection, built on the experience of digital education for seniors from the organization Moudrá Sovička.
Šťastný úsměv, z.s.
The nonprofit organization Šťastný úsměv, z. s. (Happy Smile), has been helping children with facial clefts go through treatment with a smile since 2005. In cooperation with experts, it publishes professional and children’s publications. It distributes a plush lion named Lippy, the mascot of children born with facial clefts, to these children. It also organizes an annual gathering for families of children with clefts.
Hasiči Frenštát pod Radhoštěm
The Volunteer Fire Brigade of Frenštát pod Radhoštěm has long been dedicated to preventing crisis situations, working with children and young people, preserving traditions, and collaborating on public events in the town and its surroundings. On their website, the firefighters of Frenštát report not only on the local unit’s emergency call-outs, but also provide comprehensive information for the public on how to prevent or respond to emergency situations.
Centrum pro rodinu Rudňáček, z.s.
Centrum pro rodinu Rudňáček, z.s., is a nonprofit organization in Rudná u Prahy that has been supporting families, children, adults, and seniors since 2007 through educational and leisure activities. It offers clubs for children, exercise classes for adults, counseling services, public events, and runs the Seniors Together Club for active aging.
Tlapro, z. s.
This organization strives to ensure that homeless cats are not invisible and that society treats them with respect and responsibility. It turns a long-overlooked problem into a systemic solution – connecting awareness-raising, fieldwork, and pressure for legislative change. It advocates for mandatory microchipping, spaying/neutering, and equal treatment for cats and dogs alike. Its goal is to find ways for people and cats to share urban space with dignity.
KOČIČÍ A PSÍ AZYL, z.s.
This organization actively helps abandoned and abused animals and supports shelters and associations throughout Czechia. In cooperation with other organizations, it works on animal welfare awareness and organizes successful charity events – such as MISS KOČKA (Miss Cat, since 2003), REKORD BULL SRAZ (Bulldog Record Meetup, since 2014), and various dog days, the proceeds of which help shelters.
SKP-CENTRUM, o.p.s.
SKP-CENTRUM, o.p.s., HELPS PEOPLE GET BACK ON THEIR FEET people in distress and those at risk of social exclusion – seniors, people with disabilities, people in crisis and without shelter, victims of domestic violence, children and young adults without a functioning family background, and members of minorities. It operates an effective and interconnected system of social services in the Pardubice Region.
Rodinné centrum HraDítko, z. s.
Rodinné centrum HraDítko is a nonprofit association that has, for more than 5 years, organized one-off family-oriented events as well as regular courses for children and adults. It operates mainly in Štěchovice, Hradištko, and the surrounding villages in the Prague-West district. It is also the umbrella organization for local food assistance.
Dvůr Sofie
Dvůr Sofie is an educational space near Karlštejn, where children learn through their own experience, creativity, and connection with nature. Learning is linked to practical life, and children get involved in work and collaboration with others. They gradually take on an active role in their education and develop their intrinsic motivation.
Běžecký klub Ludgeřovice
Ludgeřovice Running Club is an association that connects sport with community life. Its main pillars are organizing races and promoting physical activity among children and adults. It currently has 182 members and hosts well-known sporting events such as the Ludgeřovická 15, the charity Kapličkobraní, and the Ludgeřovický šus.
Redakce Hamík
Redakce HAMÍK and its collaborators support young talents in technical fields, especially electronics, and motivate them to study at technical schools and pursue careers as technicians, engineers, or scientists. The goal is to contribute to technological development and strengthen Czechia’s position among the world’s most advanced countries.
ULTREIA, z.s.
The association Ultreia focuses on supporting pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago routes in Czechia and across Europe. It provides route information, offers pilgrim passports and certificates, and supports the development of pilgrimage routes and facilities for pilgrims.
GK GAJA KOŠICE
This rhythmic gymnastics club in Košice is a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive sports training for children and young people in rhythmic gymnastics. It focuses on an individual approach, developing children’s physical and mental fitness, and creating conditions for their successful growth in both sport and personal development.
