Mailhosting Business

Q: When should I choose Webhosting and when Mailhosting?

Mailhosting is used purely for running email on your own domain (e.g. info@yourdomain.com ). It's suitable when you only want to deal with email, you don't need to have your website or domain with VEDOS . Webhosting or WebSite is the right choice if you also want to run your website with us. Email is included in the price; the service comes with mail hosting with an unlimited number of email mailboxes. You have 7 days to test a newly activated service. If you cancel Mailhosting within this period, we'll refund your money.

Q: Why pay when I can get email for free elsewhere?

With "free" services, you pay in a different way – with ads, the collection of your data, and your attention . Once you have your mail, contacts, and other services in one ecosystem, it becomes harder to leave at any point. With VEDOS Mailhosting, your emails are on your own domain, without ads, and always under your control .

Q: How do you handle ads, spam, and data protection?

Our emails are protected by cutting-edge AI antispam , which effectively filters out unwanted mail. We also offer protection through antivirus and anti-malware , so your mailbox stays safe from malicious software. All security is additionally ensured according to ISO 27001 standards, so we can maximally protect your data and privacy. Unlike free email services, our mail hosting does not display targeted advertising, because it's a paid service that respects your privacy and doesn't use your data for advertising purposes. The advantage is a clean, undisturbed environment for working with email. Your mailbox will remain clean, secure, and free of unnecessary ads.

Build trust with a professional email on your own domain.

Unlimited number of email mailboxes

Within a single mail hosting plan, you can create an unlimited number of email mailboxes with a total capacity of 5 GB (combined)/1 TB (combined). Each team member can have their own address, with no extra charge for additional mailboxes. An ideal solution for small businesses, freelancers, and larger teams looking for a simple and reliable email service.

Up to 5 TB of space for your emails

In the Business plan, you have 1 GB of email space available, with the option to increase it up to 505 GB according to your needs. For more demanding users, there’s the Businessplan, which offers up to 1 TB (1000 GB) of mailbox space, with the option to increase it up to 5 TB (5000 GB). Both plans support an unlimited number of mailboxes, so every team member can create their own email without restrictions. You can find more information about increasing space here.

DKIM, SPF, antivirus, antispam

All plans also place emphasis on the security and trustworthiness of your email communication. Included in the price is the setup of protective features SPF, DKIM and DMARC, which help protect your domain from misuse and improve email deliverability. Naturally, also included is antivirus and antispam protection, which filters out unwanted mail and protects your mailboxes from threats.

Protection of personal data and information

Your privacy is our priority. We operate all email services in compliance with GDPR and place great emphasis on maximum protection of personal data. Data is stored exclusively on servers in the Czech Republic, under our management, with no access by third parties. This gives you full control over your information and the assurance that your emails remain safe.

Web client Roundcube

You have convenient access to your emails from anywhere thanks to the RoundCubeweb interface. This modern and clear email client lets you easily manage mailboxes, sort messages, set up filters, or create signatures – all directly from your browser, without installing any program. RoundCube is fully available in Czech and is suitable even for less technically experienced users.

Data stored only in Czechia

All data is stored exclusively on our own servers in Hluboká nad Vltavou, in a data center built and operated by our company. This gives us full control over the infrastructure, security, and availability of the services. Your emails and personal data therefore never leave the territory of the Czech Republic, which ensures compliance with European legislation and a high level of data protection.

FAQ

When should I choose Webhosting and when Mailhosting?

Mailhosting is used purely for running email on your own domain (e.g. info@yourdomain.com). It’s suitable when you only want to deal with email, you don’t need to have your website or domain with VEDOS.

Webhosting or WebSite is the right choice if you also want to run your website with us. Email is included in the price; the service comes with mail hosting with an unlimited number of email mailboxes.

You have 7 jours pour tester a newly activated service. If you cancel Mailhosting within this period, we’ll refund your money.

Can I transfer my existing email mailboxes to VEDOS?

Yes. You won’t lose a single email. Thanks to our automatic migration tool, you can transfer all your messages and folders to VEDOS in just a few clicks – quickly, safely, and without any service downtime. You can find the detailed procedure in our knowledge base.

Want the whole transfer to be completely hassle-free? We can also arrange a professional paid transfer from a competitor for you.

I need to upgrade to the Business plan. Do I need to do anything with DNS or my email client settings?

Your email addresses, settings, folders, and message history all stay the same; only the service parameters change. There’s no need to modify DNS or reconfigure your email client, and there’s no downtime.

Si vous utilisez par exemple Outlook/Thunderbird/Apple Mail, vous pouvez continuer à l’utiliser sans aucune modification ; vos comptes et vos paramètres restent intacts.

Why pay when I can get email for free elsewhere?

With “free” services, you pay in a different way – with ads, the collection of your data, and your attention. Une fois que vous avez votre courrier, vos contacts et d’autres services dans un même écosystème, il devient plus difficile de le quitter un jour.

With VEDOS Mailhosting, your emails are on your own domain, without ads, and always under your control.

How do you handle ads, spam, and data protection?

L’ensemble de la sécurité est en outre assuré selon ISO 27001 standards, so we can maximally protect your data and privacy.

Your mailbox will remain clean, secure, and free of unnecessary ads.
